The AMHT is pleased to be working with the AMOC to organise a Celebration Display at each of the Club's concours events. The Celebration Display will consist of a line-up of specially invited cars together with some interesting items from the AMHT archives. A trophy will be presented to the car with the most relevance to Aston Martin history & heritage.
The Celebration Display at the 2017 Spring Concours at St. Athan, South Wales, is the six cylinder DBS model built between 1967 and 1972. The DBS was built with the all new 2+2 William Towns bodywork married to the 3,995cc six-cylinder engine from the DB6. Available in either 282bhp standard tune or the Vantage version with three 45 DCOE Weber carburettors, special camshafts, 9.4:1 compression ratio and quoted peak power of 325bhp.
Entry is open to all DBS cars and it costs just £15 to enter. Please download the entry form here and return the form by email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our goal is to put on a fabulous display of these cars and we would like as many to be present as possible. We have a special area set aside for the display adjacent to the main concours competitors and several cars are already confirmed. For more information, please call Rob Smith on +44 (0)7770 982821.
For more information about the concours event in general please see AM News or the AMOC website.
