Supporters of AMHT gathered at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London, in late January for a dinner and lecture to commemorate the life and work of the AMHT’s first Chairman Walter Hayes, also Chairman of Aston Martin Lagonda and President of Ford Europe. This sold-out annual event has been held since 2003 and is a high point in the Trust’s calendar. This year we were delighted to hear the candid reflections of guest speaker Marek Reichman, Chief Creative Officer at Aston Martin plc, as interviewed by journalist and writer Simon de Burton. With an Aston Martin Valkyrie on show in the Club’s Rotunda, and the wonderful surroundings of the RAC, the evening, as always, was very special.
