Sophie is a skilled museum professional with over a decade of experience in the museum and heritage sector. In that time, she has worked with collections dating from the Anglo-Saxon period to the modern day, ranging from archaeological material to textiles, swords and silver.
She has worked in all areas of collections management, spoken at international events and delivered exhibitions with international partners. She has worked especially closely with vehicle collections and their interpretation, storage and movement, including co-ordinating large scale moves across the Southeast of England.
Sophie loves sharing histories and stories, making them available and accessible, and is passionate about history, museums and archaeology. She has a long-held interest in battlefield archaeology and was a Trustee of the Battlefields Trust from 2017 to 2023.
