Having studied in Archaeology and Museum Studies for five years, Sue transitioned her expertise into museum services and has spent many years working in varied managerial roles providing services to the museum and heritage sector.
She has project managed entire museum fit-out projects including design, manufacture, and installation of complete exhibitions to smaller projects for historic houses, art galleries and private collectors across the UK. With further qualifications in conservation and restoration she enjoyed the associated practical hands-on work and has worked with artefacts ranging from Egyptian Mummies, Dinosaur skeletons to Fine jewellery and modern art.
She loved that no two days were the same. Sue joined us in 2022 and brings with her valuable organisational skills to our overall operations and events. She enjoys engaging with the public and providing good customer service.
In spare her time she enjoys being just as active, especially outdoors, after setting up the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme at a nearby school in 2018 continues to volunteer as Manager and Expedition leader for the programme. Her drive is seeing children realise their potential and achieve their goals.
