You may well ask yourself — is it really an Aston Martin?
Indeed it is.
Now on display in the museum, this rare Aston Martin Cygnet is a model many people have never even heard of, let alone seen up close. Built between 2011 and 2013, just under 800 were produced in total and it remains one of the rarest Aston Martins ever made. Most were shipped overseas, making sightings in the UK even more uncommon.
Based on the Toyota iQ, the Cygnet was then completely re‑worked at Aston Martin’s Gaydon facility, where it received a handcrafted luxury interior, bespoke exterior panels and signature Aston Martin design cues.
Love it or hate it this isn’t something you’ll see every day but it’s a genuine Aston Martin, an unusual but important part of the company’s heritage.
So now’s your chance to come and see it up close and personal, and discover for yourself that yes, this really is an Aston Martin.
