A Fantastic Day at the AMOC Charity Clay Shooting Event

The Aston Martin Heritage Trust was delighted to attend the recent AMOC Charity Clay Shooting Day, held at the world-renowned Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds. From start to finish, it was a truly memorable occasion, bringing together Aston Martin enthusiasts for a wonderful day of sport, camaraderie and fundraising in support of a very worthy cause, The King’s Trust.

The event struck the perfect balance between friendly competition and relaxed socialising. Participants enjoyed a superb breakfast before taking to the shooting stands, where a competitive spirit certainly emerged, although always in a welcoming and good-humoured atmosphere. The spectacular weather only added to the occasion, making for an enjoyable day in beautiful surroundings.

The team at Holland & Holland were exceptional hosts. Their professionalism, warmth and friendliness ensured that everyone felt welcome, regardless of their shooting experience. It was clear from the outset that this was an event where everyone was encouraged to feel part of something special.

Of course, the Aston Martins themselves provided a stunning backdrop, with an impressive line-up of cars on display throughout the day. After the shooting, guests were able to relax with a glass of champagne before enjoying a fantastic meal provided by Wilde & Glorious, which received enthusiastic praise from all who attended.

A particularly inspiring part of the day was hearing from Emmanuel, who spoke movingly about how The King’s Trust had helped transform his life. He reflected on the opportunities and support he had received through the charity and admitted that, without their guidance, he does not know where he might be today. His story served as a powerful reminder of why fundraising events such as this are so important.

Following dinner, guests enthusiastically supported a live auction, raising significant funds for The King’s Trust and adding to the day’s charitable success. The generosity shown by everyone in attendance was a fitting reflection of the spirit of the event.

A great deal of credit must go to Dr Bez, whose vision and hard work brought the day together. He hopes to make the charity clay shoot an annual occasion and, judging by the overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, there is every reason to believe that next year’s event will be even bigger and better.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a special day. Combining great company, stunning Aston Martins, excellent food, exciting shooting and meaningful fundraising, the event was a resounding success. We extend our thanks to everyone involved and look forward to returning next year for what promises to be another outstanding occasion.
