A fantastic day was enjoyed at the Aston Martin Owners Club Festival, hosted at the British Motor Museum. Cars began arriving from 7am onwards, and before long the display area was full.
There was a superb line-up of Vanquish models, possibly the largest gathering ever seen in one place. It was fascinating to hear more of Dr Bez’s stories around the launch of the Vanquish, including how the project was delayed as the car quality wasn’t quite right, but the wait was certainly worth it.
Steve Waddingham also led a walkaround of the cars on display, sharing even more insights and interesting facts.
Congratulations to Douglas and the AMOC HQ team for putting on yet another excellent event, and thank you to the British Motor Museum, who are always such friendly and professional hosts.
It was a very hot and enjoyable day, made even better by a conveniently located ice cream van!
