The AM6 Vantage was the replacement to the best-selling Aston Martin of all time, the V8 Vantage (VH2). The AM6 Vantage was under development for many years prior to its final unveiling to the public in 2017. Unusually it was not unveiled at an International Motor Show, but in the atrium of the Gaydon headquarters, live streamed on the internet.
This silver concept appears to be a real car but is actually a very accurate model of the car in its final form, with a solid interior. Unusually, the wheels on either side of the model are different designs. The ‘AM6’ reflects the name of the new Vantage engineering platform (the previous Vantage model used the VH2 platform).
