The AMV8 Vantage Concept was first shown at the 2003 Detroit Motor Show and was met with universal acclaim.
Although based on a DB7 Vantage Volante chassis, it looks very much like the production car that was launched at the Geneva Motor Show a little over two years later. Styling is accredited to Henrik Fisker although clearly based on previous work by Ian Callum. The production car was powered by a 4.3 litre V8 but this concept retains its DB7 Vantage V12 engine, cleverly disguised to look like a V8.
