The Aston Martin Heritage Trust (AMHT) is pleased to announce that it has become an affiliate of the Historic & Classic Vehicles Alliance (HCVA), joining a growing network of organisations committed to protecting, preserving and promoting the UK's historic vehicle sector.
At AMHT, our mission is to preserve and share the rich history of Aston Martin for current and future generations. Through our collections, archives, educational activities and the Aston Martin Museum, we work to ensure that the story of one of Britain's most iconic automotive marques remains accessible to enthusiasts, researchers and the wider public.
Becoming part of the HCVA represents an important step in furthering that mission. The HCVA serves as a collective voice for the historic and classic vehicle community, bringing together businesses, museums, clubs, charities and enthusiasts to help safeguard the future of the sector.
We are particularly excited about the opportunities to collaborate with fellow affiliates and members, share knowledge and expertise, and support initiatives that promote heritage skills, education and awareness of the cultural significance of historic vehicles. The HCVA's work in championing the interests of the sector and engaging with policymakers helps ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy and learn from our motoring heritage.
As custodians of Aston Martin heritage, we recognise that preserving the past is about more than safeguarding vehicles and archives. It is also about supporting the people, skills and organisations that keep automotive history alive. Through our affiliation with the HCVA, we look forward to contributing to a stronger and more connected heritage community.
Sue Gibbons, CEO of the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, said:
"We are delighted to become an affiliate of the Historic & Classic Vehicles Alliance. The HCVA plays a vital role in supporting and championing the historic vehicle sector, and we are proud to join an organisation that shares our commitment to preserving automotive heritage. The Aston Martin Heritage Trust looks forward to supporting the HCVA's vision of uniting the sector, preserving our shared heritage and helping to secure a sustainable future for historic and classic motoring.
