Join AMHT Trustee, Garry Taylor, and official Aston Martin Historian and AMHT Trustee, Steve Waddingham, as they reflect on their recent trip to the unique Aston Martin Arcadia in Tokyo, Japan. After embarking on two fifteen-hour flights, the pair immersed themselves in the three-day celebration to mark Aston Martin’s 110-year milestone.
A first-of-its-kind event, Arcadia celebrated 110 years of Aston Martin’s history, past, and present and took a look into the brand’s future in Asia. The Arcadia schedule saw a selection of the most esteemed Aston Martins from across the globe being assessed by respected judges from Japan and the UK. Plus, it was set to be the largest-ever Aston Martin gathering in the Asia-Pacific region.
Listen to Garry and Steve discuss the whole event itself and the Japanese car culture. They saw a brand new Aston Martin (sort of…) by J. Laverack, witnessed the Valkyrie at speed on the Fuji Speedway, and also interviewed Gregory Adams, the Regional President, Asia, Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd.
We couldn’t forget the anniversary of Steve’s 33 years at AML!
