When you think of current Aston Martin sites, you may immediately think of Gaydon, St Athan and Silverstone. However, there is one other, and quite unknown, being the Wolverton Mill Parts Operations in Milton Keynes.
Garry Taylor takes the microphones to “Parts” to discover its history and current operations. Around the table were Stuart Lee (Heritage Parts Sales & Strategy Lead), Des Lovett (Quality Controller), Neil Grace (Workshop Technician) and Steve Waddingham (AML Historian).
They recall the early days of the rather simplistic parts operation from Newport Pagnell, and how it had to become more professional and slicker with the introduction of the DB7, to the highly invested and automated operation it is today, in suppling parts and heritage knowledge to dealers and owners worldwide.
