Chris d’E Vallancey is a truly unique character within the Aston Martin world, having been an owner of a DB5 for 50 years and having had an impressive career with the marque for many years.

In the podcast Chris tells us about his ownership of his treasured DB5, having purchased it for just a few hundred pounds in 1974. His career within the Aston Martin community included stints with well-known specialists, main dealers and ultimately as the head of the Aston Martin Lagonda Heritage Parts Operations.

Although now retired and living on the Isle of Wight, Chris continues to keep in close contact with his former colleagues and is a well-respected expert of the marque.

This interview took place at Chris’s home on the island, with AML Historian, Steve Waddingham.
