Heading to the Goodwood Revival? This episode is designed as a short Aston Martin companion for the journey.
Garry Taylor is joined by motorsport historian and broadcaster Peter Snowdon for a look at Aston Martin's remarkable connection with Goodwood - from the famous Nine Hours and the DBR1's 1-2-3 finish in the 1958 Tourist Trophy, to the drama of the 1959 Tourist Trophy and Aston Martin's World Sportscar Championship.
We also look ahead to the Aston Martins racing at this year's Revival and the three races Aston enthusiasts should have marked in their programme: the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy on Friday, the Brooklands Trophy on Saturday and the Freddie March Memorial Trophy on Sunday.
Peter explains what makes the DB4GT, the pre-war Aston Martins and the DB3/DB3S so special - and what to look and listen for when these cars are being raced hard around Goodwood.
