Following on from Episode 15 where we were driven by Les Goble, the former Head of Performance Driving at AML in a Newport Pagnell Aston Martin Vanquish V12, to dispel some of the myths that surround the Vanquish gearbox, in this episode Garry Taylor, Les, Steve Waddingham (AML Historian) and Guy Jenner (CEO HWM Walton on Thames) sit in the showroom and look back at the Vanquish in general.

Covering its early days as Project Vantage, the huge technical leap from previous cars and the transformation at the Newport Pagnell factory to make production happen. 

Also, from dealing with the perceived gearbox issues to the media; the tunnels; the customer engagement through Performance Driving Courses; mango chicken days; its impact on Aston Martin and the DB9; finishing on the Ultimate Edition up until the lights were turned off at Newport Pagnell.
